BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY

## 1. Making a Booking
When you book an appointment through CheckGen, you will receive a confirmation email and a calendar invite to the email address provided. Bookings are confirmed only once you receive this confirmation.
You are responsible for ensuring the email address and calendar details you provide are accurate. CheckGen is not liable for missed appointments resulting from incorrect contact information.
## 2. Calendar Invites
CheckGen generates calendar invites compatible with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook. If you have connected your calendar account via OAuth, the invite will be added automatically. Otherwise, you will receive an `.ics` file attachment to add manually.
CheckGen accesses your calendar solely to create and manage events you have explicitly requested. We do not read, store, or share other calendar events. You may revoke calendar access at any time through your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account settings without affecting your CheckGen account.
## 3. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking up to [X hours/days] before the scheduled appointment by:
- Logging into your CheckGen account and cancelling from your bookings dashboard
- Clicking the cancellation link in your confirmation email
- Contacting us at [your@email.com]
Cancellations made within [X hours] of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee as specified at the time of booking.
## 4. Rescheduling
You may reschedule a booking up to [X hours/days] before the appointment at no extra charge. Rescheduling requests made after this window may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, and fees may apply.

## 5. No-Shows
If you do not attend a booked appointment without cancelling in time, the appointment will be treated as a no-show. No-shows may result in:
- The full appointment fee being charged (non-refundable)
- A no-show flag on your account
- Restricted access to future bookings
## 6. Our Right to Cancel or Reschedule
CheckGen reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment in exceptional circumstances (e.g., technical issues, service unavailability, or force majeure events). In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and offer:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule at no additional cost
## 7. Refunds for Cancellations
Refunds for cancellations are processed in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and the Australian Consumer Law. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
## 8. Reminders
We may send you appointment reminders via email. By booking an appointment, you consent to receive these transactional communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
