Maria leads CheckGen's science. Her doctoral research explored the biology of ageing at a cellular level, including pioneering work on how young cells age and how aged cells can be rejuvenated. That foundational science is the engine behind CheckGen's molecular skin profiling platform.
Oliver brings clinical rigour and operational leadership to CheckGen. His medical training across Manchester and London gives him a deep understanding of how scientific insight translates into real-world health outcomes, shaping how CheckGen delivers its service and communicates findings to clients.

We started CheckGen because we believed that the skincare industry was built on guesswork. People spend hundreds of dollars on products based on marketing claims, skin type labels, and trial and error. We think they deserve better. We started CheckGen to bridge the gap between rigorous science and real-world skincare. Skincare companies and clinics deserve better than subjective assessments. CheckGen gives them objective, molecular-level data to make confident, evidence-backed decisions.
